If you hadn’t noticed, it’s just about summer time.  If you’re from a cold weather climate, like NYC, it’s the best feeling in the world.  Layers of clothing start coming off, bars open up their rooftops and patios, and the beach become our weekend roadtrip.  I actually feel bad for all our warm weather readers; you guys don’t get the same excitement for MDW that we do.  Well actually, no I don’t, because you guys get summer all year round.  But I digress.

When you’re prepping for the warm weather, getting your summer gear together is a top priority.  For me, a SoCal kid living in the concrete jungle, all I really need are a pair of board shorts and some fresh new kicks.  If you’ve been following cali/surf fashion trends the past couple years, bright colors have been a huge part of style, even for dudes.  This summer those colors have got to make it into your shoe game.  So it was awesome when Huf Worldwide sent me these sick low tops for the summer (don’t hate on the socks either).

The Sutter, their classic low top shoe, is already a style I own, but these tiedie Jade Crystal Wash are the perfect addition for the summer in NYC.   You can rock them with jeans, board shorts, or even some preppy shorts for those parties at Surf Lodge in Montauk.  Let’s not forget they are only $60 so you can definitely get a couple pairs in different colors (the grey softs are dope too).

They are definitely going to get a lot of wear this summer on the pavement of NYC annndddd on my trip to Brazil for the World Cup.  Definitely grab a pair at Huf Worldwide.

Thanks for the hook up @hufworldwide.
