Today’s SOTD brings the return of the great Imogen Heap. We haven’t heard from this multi-talented singer/songwriter since her 2010 album, Eclipse.  It’s taken Imogen Heap more than three years to give us her latest effort, Sparks, and from what I have heard so far, the wait was well worth it. The lead single and today’s SOTD is the beautiful “You Know Where to Find Me.” Sparks was recorded over a three year span with a different track being made during a two week period every three months. It’s an unconventional way to make an album, but you can tell a lot of time and thought was put into these songs. “You Know Where to Find Me” is filled with intricate sounds that Imogen Heap has made a living doing. As with all of Imogen Heap’s music there are elements of rock, dance, electonica, folk, mixed in. She really can’t be put in a box musically, but sonically she knows how to connect with her audience and I think you know what I mean after hearing this track. Enjoy today’s SOTD, “You Know Where to Find Me” by London’s own, Imogean Heap.
